What are you working on at Keysight?
I am working on the product Cyperf to understand the compatibility of our product with various CNI supported by Amazon Kubernetes Service.
How does your role at Keysight complement your major and vice versa?
I am from an Electronics background but I had a strong interest in Computer Networking and Cloud Computing. Interning at Keysight gave me hands-on experience on this topic and eventually, I developed more passion on this and started digging as much as depth possible.
What do you like best about working with your team?
The best thing about my team is they always give me new things and give me time to learn those things and then do the task. So, in the last 7 months, apart from the internship work, I have learned a lot, which will surely boost my career.
What’s something you’ve learned while at Keysight?
I have learned a lot from this wonderful journey. The most important thing I learned was how to work in a team and team spirit of each and every one. I never felt I am an intern here because all my team members valued my opinion and eventually helped to learn new things. As an engineer, it was a great learning, which I am sure will help me in my future.
If you could give one piece of advice to future interns, what would it be?
Don't be shy. Ask your questions and give your opinion. No one will judge you and eventually you will learn a lot.
Describe some of your favorite moments at Keysight.
The onboarding process was very smooth and in the first week, there was an introduction session where we said about ourselves and described our project and I was very happy as everyone praised my project. I also loved the moment when suddenly in the morning of Valentine's Day my mother started saying that I have received a Valentine's gift. I was surprised because I am single when I unboxed the gift, I saw it was a greeting from Keysight Technologies on Valentine's day.
What will you take from your experience with Keysight into your future endeavors?
I will take the experience of work culture and how we should treat and behave with our co-workers.
What has surprised you most about interning at Keysight?
Even in the work from home situation, everything was so organized and also the level of expertise each one has in their respective domains.
